Pins, Pins, Pins

Alright, some back story to this. I was asked to come up with some pin designs since they discovered I could use a computer for more than sending emails. lol

I was given a book from the company that makes them and 2 roughed out sketches based around the simplest pin in the entire catalog. >.>

Pin A and Pin B were the original more cleaned up designs of their sketches. Pin C was entirely my idea.

The book encouraged you to make your designs. Incorporate where you come from, it says! Let the pin tell others about you! The book was mostly American designs with things like states or palm tress, beaches desert scenes. They had tonnes of really great ones.

Well they liked the designs though they had me tweak Pin A , four more times. The wanted pin A in the same colours as B then they kept wanting things rearranged.

Pin C they liked as well. It was the favorite in my department because the trillium alone screamed Ontario. If I had my choice i would have left the words off the leaves on this one, but it was one of things they wanted..*sigh*

After all was said and done I was told they were going to vote on them. As of yet I've not heard which design they decided to go with...or whether I'll be asked to revamp them again

I did these while at work with a very limited photo shop elements 2 program and a mouse, in between developing film and customer service I could have done so much better if they let me do it at home Oh well.
