Playing around with PS again. Seeing what I can come up with Gran's bday. think she'll like this one :)

Flowers. A sign of summer. I love how the colors are vivid, yet appealing. I find the flowers very astonishing, they're Stargazer lilies if I'm right? :)

The simple but strong feeling of this one is amazing, placing the three flowers naturally against each other was a nice touch. The violet bird is also very beautiful with fluffy feathers and all, and it looks somewhat happy, like it can't decide which flower to take :D

As for the critiques, it could be sharper. Now it looks like the 'camera' is off-focus. Sure the flowers can be blurry, but now there's no point of focus. I can't find the few places to look at, as I'm constantly looking at everything, not specific spot or area. It might be just me. Then again it has the watercolor feeling. Soft and vivid.

i like it so far...soft, elegant, and simple...pulls together the entire pic very well.....i dont know this person but wish her happy bday and give her my sentiments......cause a bday only comes around once a year and you never know when it will be your last.....

For some reason this picture is delicious, the soft tones are engaging and the lillies are beautiful, and the bird is very cute. I agree wholeheartedly with your title, summer dream is exactly the feel I get from the colours and the soft and hazy. My only issue would be perhaps it is too hazy, its quite hard to focus, but then again I suppose that's what dreams do and in that case you've done a wonderful job. It's just like that final moment before you wake when something becomes more clearer but before you know it, you're awake.

Every time I look at it, it feels all the more refreshing. :) Hope you're Gran enjoyed it.

Thank you very much. Yes, it was meant to be hazy. I had a clearer one and just didn't like the feel of it. My grandmother loved it. :) Glad to hear you enjoyed it as well.
